Cox Communications is making a change to its local Public and Government Access channels. Effective March 1, 2012, Cox cable television customers will need a digital receiver, CableCARD, or a television set with a Clear-QAM Digital tuner to receive the following channels:
- 17 – South Coast Regional Public Access
- 18 – City of Santa Barbara Government Access
- 19 – City of Goleta Government Access
- 20 – Santa Barbara County Government Access
- 21 – City of Carpenteria Government Access
- 71 – South Coast Regional Art, Community, Culture, and K-12 Educational Access
- 72 – UCSB Educational Access
If you are currently viewing these channels on a digital receiver, there will be no change.
