2007 End-of-Year Instructions for Residents

UCSB Telephone and Cable Television1 services will automatically be disconnected at the following locations on June 17th, 2007.2

  • All Residence Halls
  • Santa Ynez Apts 100s, 200s, and Apts #300-348
  • Westgate and El Dorado

1 If you ordered any services from Cox Communications, you must cancel your services with them and return any Cox converter boxes. Their number is 681-6783 and their address is 22 S. Fairview Avenue, Goleta.
2 You will receive a bill from BARC in June for all of May’s charges, and a final bill in July for the days of service in June.

Residents in the following locations must cancel their services when vacating their apartments, or billing will continue until a request is received by Communications Services.

  • Santa Ynez Apts 400s and Apts #322-329
  • All Family Student Housing

If you want your service disconnected before or after these dates, please use our online Order, Change, or Cancel Service system. Or if you prefer, you can print out the Service Deactivation Request form (pdf) and mail it to the address listed on the form, or bring it to our office at the rear of the Public Safety Building, Room 1030C. We do not take requests over the phone.

You may use our BORIS system to find your Account Summary and settle with your roommates before leaving.
